The airport has a train connection with Gda\u0144sk Wrzeszcz railway station, within the walking distance from the conference venue (Gda\u0144sk University of Technology) and several hotels in Wrzeszcz district. If your hotel is near the Old Town, you have to take another train from Gda\u0144sk Wrzeszcz in the direction Gda\u0144sk \u015ar\u00f3dmie\u015bcie and get off at Gda\u0144sk G\u0142\u00f3wny (Main Railway station) or Gda\u0144sk \u015ar\u00f3dmie\u015bcie. Train tickets can be bought in the ticket machines on the platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Due to construction works along the airport train line, at Gda\u0144sk Wrzeszcz station and Gda\u0144sk G\u0142\u00f3wny station, some perturbations in travel can occur and the timetable changes often. Thus, taxi might be the easiest option to get to your hotel from the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gda\u0144sk University of Technology can be easily reached by tram (stops Opera Ba\u0142tycka or Politechnika). If you stay near the Old Town, you can take the following lines from either Brama Wy\u017cynna or Dworzec G\u0142\u00f3wny tram stops:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 \u2013 direction Jelitkowo, get off at Politechnika<\/p>\n\n\n\n
9 \u2013 direction Strzy\u017ca PKM, get off at Politechnika<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From Dworzec G\u0142\u00f3wny, you can also take line 12 direction Oliwa and get off at Politechnika.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tram tickets can be bought in ticket machines located at many stops, including Brama Wy\u017cynna, Dworzec G\u0142\u00f3wny, Opera Ba\u0142tycka and Politechnika. It is not possible to buy tickets on the tram. A single ticket is 4.80 PLN (about 1.05 EUR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can also take a taxi. In this case remember to give the name “Politechnika” (Polish for University of Technology) and the address (Narutowicza street) to the driver to avoid confusion with other universities existing in Gda\u0144sk (University of Gda\u0144sk and Medical University of Gda\u0144sk).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
